NS0034       Basalt Linear Brick Mosaic

This is a beautiful, natural stone tile, made from basalt stone. It has a smooth, honed finish, and consists of randomly arranged linear cut basalt bullets.  The picture shows the natural honed color of the tile. You can use an enhancing sealer for a darker tone.  This tile is great for most wall and backsplash applications.  It is a great mosaic to create a modern backdrop on featured walls, and can be used outdoors as well.  The tile is also not jet black, and has a lighter black or dark grey appearance.

To preserve the look of the tile, please use a tile sealer if you plan to use this in the bathroom or kitchen.  Due to the porous nature of natural stone, water and particles can get lodged in the pores and ruin the look of the tile.  Natural stone tiles are normally sealed if they’re going to be exposed to the elements.
