NS0008     SplitFace Basalt Stone

Split face tiles have mosaics of random heights arranged together.  They create a very modern look and is sometimes called a high low mosaic.  The one we have today is made from lava stone or basalt stone with a mix of polished stone and honed.  The tiles are tightly packed with no grout lines in between.

These tiles are good for any kind of wall covering, however it is recommended that they be sealed to preserve the look of the stone.  Primarily in environments where the tiles might be exposed to elements like grease, moisture, etc in kitchens, bathrooms, etc.  In other spaces, you can get away without using a sealer as some prefer the natural look of stone.

These tiles are great for kitchen walls, fireplace walls, bathrooms, etc.  In commercial environments they are great for walls behind a counter, or similar focal points.
